Stormwater management initiatives

Newman & Company, Inc. is looking forward to working with the Philadelphia Water Department to complete the second stage of our campus stormwater reclamation project. This project further advances our over 100-year old mission, recycling both natural as well as manufactured resources. We are hopeful the water recovered in this new system will significantly reduce over 200,000 gallons of freshwater currently supplied by the PWD on a daily basis. 

Our campus will host the site of a massive subsurface basin and water reuse system designed by Ruggiero Plante Land Design, with project management and construction by Brandywine. This will allow Newman to continue contributing to the local Wissinoming community by providing nearly 15 green acres of stormwater management.
